Friday was just not a good day. The dishwasher broke down taking most of the electrics of the house with it. Theeeen the dreaded trip to one of the largest electrical shops in the country (you all know which one).

Stood around for several minutes untill a salesman walked past. "Yes mate", now call me old fashioned but I still call my clients Sir when they come into my hairdressing salon. I explained that I wanted to buy a dishwasher. "Well I'm short of salesmen today", he said and then proceeded to the front of the shop to talk to a young man on a push bike.

Someone did eventually come along, you know the sort who wont look you in the eye and said "Are you an anytime customer". "Well what the heck is that" I said.

Oh don't worry I'll come back to that later. It dawned on me that this was going to cost me whatever it meant.

We did get around to finding the cheapest dishwasher which he said they didn't have. Strangely I had to find it myself, the price just under two hundred and fifty pounds, ok so far. Now about that anytime customer, apparantly it was going to cost me another five quid a month if I ever wanted it repaired in less than four weeks. Thats the time it takes the manufacturers to come out.

Free delivery yes but that could take another four weeks unless I went to the premium delivery. Another tenner was mentioned.

Now I know you want to know if I bought it, well no I didn't. I told him I thought he was trying to rip me off. I'm sure he had had a bad day but mine hadn't been too good either.

Anyone know where I can just go and buy a dishwasher?
